Just More Proof Of Republican Ignorance
We, democrats, have long known that being republican is the result of ignorance to the world and its happenings. We have watched in amazement as the republicans and soccer moms voted George Bush into office for a second term regardless of the facts. It was like they were oblivious to the fact that George Bush had a direct relationship to the man he claimed had attacked our country, to the fact that he stole his first term in office, and that he was wire tapping Americans phones. How can people vote for such a person? We all knew the answer. Ignorance of the issues and ignorance of how those issues would and have effected our country, our liberty and our civil liberties. Ignorance!
Today we have further proof of Republican ignorance. The party supports private enterprise and tax breaks for large corporations. Thus republicans claim to elect their leader on economic issues, but does the party that brought us Reaganomics really help the economy fare better?
A recent article in yahoo finance http://finance.yahoo.com/expert/article/futureinvest/104492 suggest not. The article states that though there tends to be a higher raise in the stock market the day after a republican president is elected than the day after a democratic president is elected, the spike does not represent the overall economical state during the president’s term. In fact, the average annual stock market return over the last 120 years has yeailded 10.85% under democratic presidents compared to only 8.25% under republican presidents.
Will this piece of information change the course of the election? No, because the republicans will turn a blind eye to it and remain in their ignorance just as they did when Bush himself admitted that Osama Bin Laden was not a major concern, but in the next breath used him to condone the war on terror. They say ignorance is bliss and they are republicans!

What’s really got me right now is how McBush and Saracuda are lying outright and people are actually buying it. It’s frustrating. It’s sick. It’s Karl Rove’s America.
I am chuckling at McBush and Saracuda…
And OH, I am ever so tired of all the election stuff already.
Tired of it all, but yes, I know I also must be informed…
You said, “as they did when Bush himself admitted that Osama Bin Laden was not a major concern, but in the next breath used him to condone the war on terror.”
I still for the life of me do NOT know why binLaden is still “out there”.
Any takes on that one?
